Jeffrey Malgady grew up in the suburbs of New York City and pursued his academic career at Stony Brook University, where he earned a B.S. in Biology and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. His doctoral research centered on the pathophysiology of basal ganglia circuits in mouse models of compulsive behaviors, particularly those linked to obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Jeffrey is passionate about translational research and aims to contribute to advancements in therapeutics. Outside of the lab, he enjoys paddle boarding, fishing, and camping.
