Danny Dunn joined the Furler O’Brien Lab in July of 2022. His projects include identifying and characterizing the HIV-1 reservoir in ART treated and untreated tissues. He grew up in Rockville, MD and graduated from Vassar College in 2022, where he was a member of the Swim & Dive team and majored in Neuroscience & Behavior, writing his thesis on the impact of naloxone on the extinction of instrumentally conditioned sexual behaviors in Japanese Quail. He hopes to go on to study neurodegenerative diseases, and his interests outside of the lab include swimming, drinking bubble tea, and playing Pokémon Go.
