Biology of T Cells

Our mission is to investigate human T cell biology, with a specific focus on characterizing the cellular anatomy, physiology, and pathology of T cells in the context of HIV infection. By unraveling the intricate mechanisms that underlie these cellular pathologies that lead to CD4+ T cell death and viral persistence, we aim to identify novel curative approaches for AIDS.
